Cabin #17 sits right on the Santa Ana River in the Seven Oaks Tract of cabins on Forest Service land. It is accessed by paved Glass and Seven Oaks Road so is accessible year around no matter the weather. A short gravel driveway off of Seven Oaks Road leads to the partially hidden cabin tucked back in the trees and Live Oaks. The cabin is approx. 588 sq. ft. in size consisting of a kitchen, living room, bedroom, all 3 of roughly equal size. Current owner s have decorated the cabin which you can see from the photo's. The bathroom is small but has a sink and tub shower. There is a small utility room that opens to the rear wood deck which looks out on the river. Very private with a great view. Take your lawn chairs 100 feet over to the river and listen and watch the river flow over the rocks and through the Alder trees. What a life! Throw your fishing line in the pools and catch rainbow trout and the occasional brown trout. Bored with the beauty of the setting then trot off to hundreds of miles of hiking trails or jump in the car and head for Big Bear Lake some 28 miles to the Lake, shopping, fine restaurants, theater, night life, etc. An incredibly cheap and entertaining vacation and you own it! But not the land! It is on Forest Service land so it cannot be financed (cash only offers accepted), cannot be used as primary residence and any exterior changes require Forest Service approval due to State historical site inclusion.
