Forest Service land so cash only offers are accepted, cannot be financed, cannot be changed on the exterior without Forest Service approval, cannot be used as a rental or a primary residence. Sitting less than 100 yards from the Santa Ana River to the covered front porch, it features a cozy living room with efficient air tight wood burning stove as primary heat but also has a propane wall heater to warm up the cabin fast. The dining table is set up in a corner of the living room with 2 windows that look out into the trees and the other out to the river itself. A modest size kitchen provides a refrigerator and free standing propane range/oven with ample cabin style cupboard space. The bathroom is small but is composed of a shower, flushing commode and vanity. The two adjacent bedrooms are of good size and will accomodate queen size beds. The rooms are carpeted for warmth and sound deadening. All windows are shuttered and locked for security when not occupied. Serviced by So Cal Edison, telephones by Frontier Communications. The location is ideal, right on the Santa Ana River which is stocked with rainbow trout regularly, hiking trails and 4 wheel roads abound in the area. The County maintains and plows the access road to the driveway, important in snow season, but it also makes this cabin accessable year around. Where else would you find this in Southern California?
